The Daisho-in Temple, the oldest temple on Miyajima, located 5 minutes from the World Heritage Site Itsukushima Shrine, is a very prestigious temple said to have been founded by Kukai. It is also famous for its cherry blossoms, autumn leaves, and other flowers, and is said to be one of the most famous power spots in Hiroshima Prefecture.

This will be a special private tour held there, limited to one group per day. A priest from Daisho-in Temple will guide you around the temple grounds while telling you about the history of Miyajima and Yazan. 2-5 people are allowed in small groups, so you can talk with the priest in a relaxed atmosphere and discuss any questions or concerns you may have had in the past.

You can dine with beautiful autumn scenery.

Within the precincts of the temple, there is a Japanese garden known only to those in the know. Once you step into the garden, you will feel at ease. The Japanese garden and the tea ceremony room, which is not usually open to the public, are available for rent.

During the fall foliage season, the grounds of the temple are covered with the vivid autumn colors of the Iroha maple trees, offering a relaxing view of autumn. Surrounded by the red autumn leaves, enjoy vegetarian cuisine made with Miyajima ingredients and authentic matcha (powdered green tea) served in a traditional Japanese style.

Special red seal book souvenirs with a sense of history and Japanese culture are also available.

A "special red seal book" made of Japanese paper from a foil-stamped paper manufacturer established in Hiroshima over 100 years ago will be given as a souvenir. Washi made by this manufacturer has been used for the U.S. Academy Awards ceremony, overseas airports, villas of prominent Japanese politicians, and stores at GINZA SIX, making Hiroshima the proud manufacturer of foil-pressed paper.
